Bob and Kathy Wilson, "Buckets of Hope" Founders
Feeling the call of the Holy Spirit to love and care for our neighbors who lack in what we daily take for granted, while spreading the Good News of the Gospel, the vision,"Buckets of Hope," emerged from our thoughts and became firmly planted within our hearts. Passion grew out of three successful events at our local Jackson, Michigan church. We witnessed the awe of children and adults, alike, grasping the concept of life beyond themselves as they participated in hands-on learning experiences in coordination with raising money through the fun of shooting baskets. How God-honoring it was as hearts were made tender to accept the responsibility of making a difference.
Keeping this opportunity local, to educate and raise funds for the disfranchised and persecuted of our world became uncomfortable, nearly unbearable, and then unacceptable. Thus, "Buckets of Hope," the non-profit "add water and stir" event was birthed.
As a result of all that was learned from developing and leading the "Buckets of Hope" endeavor, we have created a user friendly kit to enable you the opportunity to enjoy a successful event - just add water and stir! It is our heartfelt prayer that the Lord would also use YOU to provide missionary and humanitarian workers with the means to offer oppressed people in developing countries relief and hope, in Jesus name!
For His Glory Alone,
Bob and Kathy Wilson

"If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:17)
